Given the EU Commission imperative to try autocratically control you can see why the EUC might wish to control and keep tabs on block chain. BUT It has a life of its own in many areas and the EUC or even Governments will have no chance of keeping tabs on block chain development. It will be interesting to see how the regulatory institutions keep up or maintain their relevance – because there is so little transactional visibility as well as incredible security. Ultimately it will be the tool for machine – machine communication leaving out the need for human intervention. Maybe blockchain will mark the end for the EUC so not all bad 🙂
