What would happen if you viewed your team had an infinite ability? By giving people the space to do their work in their own way they can align the way the carry out their tasks with their beliefs – that reduces unproductive stress and reinforces integrity. To the contrary consider what is it like to be micromanaged or operate in tyranny of tolerance such as a politically correct environment. Micromanagement or political correctness both create a tyranny of tolerance and form thinly veiled bullying because it creates real stress for those with real integrity. Those without integrity, or without the respect for a healthy diversity of views will thrive. These behaviours don’t deliver results in tough times they stall those with the courage to act
