Our experience of resolving tech – FTSE – VC backed growth challenges suggests that the people challenges are becoming increasingly difficult to resolve YET critical to resolve the business challenges…. & in the meantime employees are increasingly less willing to put up with mediocrity and less able to speak out. Why is this?…. In part is the growth of Rev4 Digital era – an outcome of the inability to fix the increasingly difficult people issues in business… so the logic of digitization & artificialintelligence is to “reduce our reliance on our people”? …. This overlooks the fact YOU and I are people – not machines so YOU and I will ALSO be marginalised? How well do marginalised people behave and what type of businesses will this create? This is in a climate of peoples fear of losing out, exponential speed of tech development and uncertainty which overcome rational thinking – the ultimate storm?
