Just had a thought: as to why we might be letting hashtagartificialintelligence destroy the fabric of society? Maybe the techies have never experienced worklessness and its disastrous impact on humanity? : – the feeling of worthlessness – the impact of poverty – creating very few options and homelessness – destruction of marriage – being unable to provide for a family – dependent mindset – maintaining the balance between hope of finding work / realism – destruction and marginalisation of entire communities – violence that emerges from marginalisation and been seen as spongers – the alcohol / violence / drug taking from not being listened to – debt trap worklessness can entail – associated amoral liberal leadership Proverbs 16:27-29 “Idle hands are the devil’s workshop; idle lips are his mouthpiece.” Much work putting the lost in communities back together in desperate situations relies on using work as the tool to create hope. But due to AI – there will be no hope for 40% of finding work because there will be 40% less roles in 2030 Maybe techies think “not me”, “I will have money and work” , maybe they should experience worklessness. but even the techies won’t be able to train fast enough either.
